Achille Castiglioni

Was born in Milan in 1918. Since 1940 devoted to try industrialjunto production with two Livio (1911 1979) and Pier Giacomo (1913 1968) brothers. After graduating in architecture in 1944, he began a search for forms, techniques and new materials, driven by the development of an integrated design process.

Was one of the founders of ADI in 1956. In 1969, he received, written permission from the Ministry of Education to practice as a professor of Artistic Design for Industry in the Faculty of Architecture in Turin until 1980 and later Industrial Design Milan until 1993.
