About the designer Philippe Starck

Philippe Starck is a French designer who was born in Nice. Its activity has developed essentially between France and Italy. He studied applied arts and product design in Lyon.

The work of Philippe Starck is characterized by the connection between the experimental search and the pragmatic analysis of the know-how of the manufacturers with whom he works.

His experience over the years has been nurtured by the mixture of Franco-Italian cultures and the experience of always very different projects.

He began designing independently from 1999. His start was in the hands of the famous Italian designer Michele De Lucchi with whom he has participated in numerous projects of products, furniture, lighting and interior architecture.
