Cappuccina is designed by Inga Sempé is a luminaire composed of a thin metal base and a spherical light body in opal glass with an LED module, in which the fabric screen is supported. This mechanism makes it possible to move the shadow and orient the light where it is desired. The concave base is the footprint of the crystal sphere emitted by the light.

[ata3] can be combined by various fabric types. This luminaire is available in desktop version, floor lamp and pendant. It is necessary to acquire the structure and the screen to obtain the complete lamp.

Inga Sempé designer Cappuccina

Inga Sempé was born in 1968 in Paris. She got graduated in Industrial Design from the ENSCI in Paris.

She has worked with Marc Newson in Paris just after graduating and later collaborated for a couple of years with André Putman.

Inga Sempé started working on her own studio from 2000 and designs for manufacturers worldwide known as Luceplan, Cappellini, Edra or Baccarat, among others.

"The lamp with the screen is somewhat difficult to reinterpret, so I started to invent Cappuccina with a simple and invisible system for the orientation of the screen, which would set the difference with other models. Only in the balance of the screen in a crystal ball, this makes Cappuccina a spontaneous collection. " Inga Sempé
